The mission of AHPAA is to be a great resource to our members. Many of our members are also members of advising communities on a national and regional level. Here are the three main organizations that we recommend for our members.
NAAHP is the National Association for the Advisors in Health Professions. NAAHP membership and involvement provides unparalleled value through various services and programs designed to support health professions advisors. NAAHP works hard to ensure that advisors receive the most relevant and up-to-date resources.
The Southeastern Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (SAAHP) is comprised of colleges and universities in the Southeastern U.S. concerned with the preparation of students for further study in a wide variety of health-related professions, including allopathic and osteopathic medicine, dentistry, optometry, podiatry, physician assistants, nursing, pharmacy, medical technology, chiropractic, and others.
NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising is the premier Association for student success through academic advising in higher education.
